The first novel reminded me of the novel Outlander by Diana Gabaldon because of the going back in time reference and I started to put it down and not bother to continue to read it. Then I thought no give it a try because I love most novels that include witches and boy oh boy am I glad I continued.Olivia, Theo, Sam and Olivia's good friends take you on a wild ride with mystery, passion, intrigue and "oh wtf" moments that each book becomes better than the previous one.
I'm loving Sam the man that brought Theo forward in time to help save Olivia and stop her crazy evil witch mom and a demon called Nathaniel from taking over the world. Theo is the best friend/lover that most women would love to have by her side. He's strong, sweet and sexy as hell and from the description a serious woman's wet dream!
I usually can tell which direction a novel will go in but these books keep me guessing and I love it! I can't wait until Theo comes back to the present time and realizes that his kid sister Temperance didn't die in the past instead she is alive and older than him living in Mercy. Plus she is the mayor of the town. with an old flame she bought into the town to head the investigation of people being murdered and their bodies found in the woods that happened to be behind Olivia's house.
The third novel has the main characters (Olivia, Theo, Sam) getting sucked back in time to find Olivia's Aunt Hester the keeper of the "Infernum" book to kill her and take possession of the book. The evil protagonist Isabella (Olivia's witch mom) and the evil demon Nathaniel whom she has trapped in the organs of people she killed and dumped onto Olivia's land.
P.S. I can't forget Olivia's witch father Charles and his half sister and brother whom are in Mercy to protect Olivia from her evil mom at any cost!

I really enjoyed these books! I lost Sleep reading them. Holy cliff hanger!! I hate I have to wait until the end of October to read the next one.
Some editing errors in the first couple of books and tbh it took me a while to warm up to the main character but I am noticing that the errors and the characters are maturing nicely as the series progresses.
I gave these 3 books a 4 because there was no ending. Loved the story, the characters and best of all the magic. I'm hoping the next set of three has been written and is available from unlimited.

I have not been this excited for a series in a while, but dang, these are REALLY good books. I have not been able to put my kindle down - the first time I tried I developed a serious case of FOMO - fear that I was missing out on whatever was happening in the books. Can't wait for the next one!!!!
